10. Michel Lotito
This French entertainer & superhuman was born on 15th of June, 1950 and is famously known as Monsieur Magnetout or ” Mister Eats All’. This person ate in digestible objects including metal, glass, rubber etc. He consumed 18 bicycles, 15 shopping carts, 7 television sets, 6 chandeliers, 2 beds, 1 coffin and the Cessna aircraft :O
It is estimated that Lotito had eaten nine tons of metal in his lifetime. He used to break the metal into small pieces, drank mineral oil and continued drinking water while swallowing the metal bits. He claimed that he never had any health issues because of doing this. The reason behind this is that his stomach and intestine walls are twice as thick as that of a normal human and his digestive juices are extremely powerful. He died on 25th June,2007 because of natural causes.
9. Kim Peek
Popularly known as the ‘Real Rain Man’, Kim Peek was born on 11th of November in 1951. He was a megasavant with exceptionally strong memory. Right from his birth he had macrocephaly and his brain did not have the nerves which connect the two hemispheres of the brain. Thus, his neurons made unusual connections which resulted in increased memory capacity. He was able to memorize things from the age of one and a half years. He could complete a book in one hour and memorized everything he had read. This superhuman could read two pages at a time scanning the left page with his left eye and the right one with his right eye. Before his death in 2009,Peek had memorized 12000 books..woah :O.Â The movie ‘Rain Man’ is based on his life. It is only strange that Peek scored 87, a below average score in I.Q tests.
8. Thai Ngoc
Born in 1942, Thai Ngoc is a Vietnamese insomniac. He is best known for his claim of being awake for 41 years. It is said that he acquired this weird ability after a bout of fever from which he suffered in 1973 but strangely, there wasn’t any cause behind this happening. His physical and mental health was sound and he carried 100 kg of pig feed down a 4 km road everyday. Sleep which is the ‘mother of all nurses’ couldn’t comfort this superhuman. Sad and strange!
7. Dave Mullins
Dave Mullins is a freediver and world record-holder from New Zealand. He holds a Guinness World record for breathing underwater. On 21st of September, 2007, he set a record in Dynamic apnea by swimming 226m in 3 minutes 38 seconds without any provision of oxygen. He later broke his own record and the figures were replaced by 244 and 4:02 respectively. On 27th September,2010, this superhuman executed a clean DNF swim of 218 metres on a single breath and became the sole world record holder for the same.
6. Natasha Demkina
Born in 1986 in Russia, she claims to have a special vision that enables her to look inside human bodies and see various organs thereby making medical diagnoses. Since 2004, she has been a student at Semashko Stomatological University in Moscow. Since January 2006, Demkina has worked for the Center of Special Diagnostics of the Natalya Demkina (TSSD), whose stated purpose is to diagnose and treat illness in cooperation with “experts possessing unusual abilities, folk healers and professionals of traditional medicine.” All this began when Demkina the superhuman was able to see her mothers organs using only her eyes at the age of 10. When she was taken for medical examination, Natasha told the doctor about the scars on his body that no one else could see at that time. Strange again!
5. Liam Hoekstra
Born in 1999, this kid also known as Das Uberboy from Germany has exceptionally strong muscles right from the time when he was born. When he was just 4, this boy was 6 times more strong than the average children of his age. Don’t know what’s in store for this ‘Superhuman..oh sorry !..Strong Baby’ in future.
4. Slavisa Pajkic
Popularly known as the ‘Battery Man’ from Serbia, Slavisa Pajkic is gifted with the talent of conducting electricity. He realized this when he touched a live fence by mistake but did not receive an electric shock. Today, this superhuman can cook sausages using only his hands, conduct 20k volts through his body and can heat a cup of water to 97 degrees Celsius in just two minutes. He claims of being an insulator, a conductor and a heater. Warning : Do not shake hands
3. Ben Underwood
The story of Ben Underwood is hard to believe. He was diagnosed with retinal cancer when he was just two years old and at the age of three, his eyes were removed. But, at the age of five, he discovered his superhuman capability of echolocation. He was able to detect the location of objects by making frequent clicking noises with his tongue.He could ride a bike, play football and even practised martial arts using every sense other than vision. He passed away in 2009 because of cancer.
2. The ‘Garth’ Monks
These monks of Tibet could alter the temperature of objects by only using their mind. They have been recorded to raise the temperature of their skin by up to 8 degrees Celsius while their core temperature remains exactly the same. These superhumans albeit monks stood the test of extremity as they did not even shiver at a temperature of -16 degrees celsius at an altitude of 15,000 ft. They didn’t even wear woollens. This is because they can slow down the blood flow to their brains.

Born on 20th August, 1973, this Japanese Iaido mater holds a number of Guinness World Records for his sword skills, including “Most martial arts sword cuts to one mat (suegiri)”,”Fastest 1,000 martial arts sword cuts”, “Most sword cuts to straw mats in three minutes”,and “Fastest tennis ball (708 km/h) cut by sword”. He cannot see a bullet moving through air but can precisely anticipate its location.
